Update on Sarah

We received an update on Sarah's development. She's in the 10th percentile for height, 90th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for head circumference. She's labeled as "overweighted" and has four teeth on top, four on bottom. She's finally walking (but not running) and can kick a ball. She waves goodbye, plays ball, imiates activities, drinks from a cup, points to body parts and communicates her needs by pointing. She is saying only two words, but I'm sure she will catch up once Jack gets a hold of her and talks her ear off.

There is still no movement in getting our children to their forever homes. The Korean government continues to claim that changes in adoption law is creating delays for the children to come home. I still find it inexcuseable that some children have been waiting 15 months for their child to come home. It is not appropriate for the Korean adoption agencies to pressure the government so we often sit in silence hoping for bits and pieces of information. My hope is that Sarah's transition to our family will be as minimally traumatic as possible for our growing girl.
