Happy Birthdays!

February 11 and 12th was a big weekend for some milestone birthdays! On February 11th's Steve's mom, Jackie Brainard turned 75. It was great seeing some of Jackie's past accomplishments like serving on the board of education. Jackie's family surprised her with a proclimation from the mayor of Rocky Hill as Jackie Brainard Day. It was a great party to honor a great woman who has become so important in our lives.

On February 12, me, Jack, Grandpa, Miss Vera, Amy and Steve went to Peekskill, NY to celebrate Jack's Great Great Great Aunt Ev's 100th birthday. I have only met her a few times in my life but this was such an important milestone that I was very excited to introduce Jack to Great Aunt Ev. She is amazing: she goes to church everday, drives, knits and wore an adorable wool suit to her party. 100 years is an amazing milestone and we wish her many more years of good health.

Jackie's party was at the fire house, Jack loved it!

I liked the firehouse, too!

Amy loves hoses!
