Visting the McGuires in VA

When I have spring break, I love to hop in the car with Jack (Mark usually has to work) and visit my family in Virginia. Jack loves his cousins, even though he can be a thorn in their side. I have a great time with Kelly. Most importantly it helps to get away from winter, except when it follows you! After a nice, sunny drive down, I was met in VA with my mortal enemy: snow. It wasn't a big snowfall and it was melted within a day but goes to show you my luck....We were there from Sunday to Friday morning and it was a great get away! We are so lucky to have Kelly and Bill with a drive!

Jack's favorite Richmond activity -- playing dress up.

We didn't anticipate winter so Jack had to borrow some girls winter clothes!

"sledding"

This is as close as Ellie got to the snow. The garage! Love my little buddy!

Visiting the Ashland Train Station

Such a cute little town, we loved it!

Going down the big slide at Kangaroo Jac's

Once Ellie decided she liked the slide, she was a sliding machine!

Mardi Gras party!

Chilling in the morning.

At the Richmond museum of Art making a drum.

Posing with the bear at Maymont park. What a great place!

Kelly, Madelyn, Ellie & Jack on the bridge in the Japanese gardens.

Picnic in the park.

We finished our picnic and fed the fish some leftover bread.
