Easter

Easter was an action packed weekend! On Saturday, we went to New York City to celebrate Easter with Miss Vera'a side of the family. When we got there my dad wanted to introduce us to the owner of the dry cleaning business down the street because he was Korean. He was such a nice gentleman and as it turned out, he was from the same city that Jack was born in. It was such a nice start to our weekend! He shared how he was aware that attitudes toward adoption was changing and how the threats with North Korea were being blown out of proportion because they were used to it. We can't wait to go back and visit him again.

When we got to Vera's we were met with a King's feast! Bagels, fruit, eggs, French toast....how I love me some breakfast food! Then two hours later we had lunch! We also had an Easter egg hunt on the patio and all the kids had a good time.

On Sunday we went to church at 9am and then went to my Aunt Amy's house where we celebrated with my cousins Nikki and Rachel and their husbands. Sarah had a run in with Baby Briley...Briley wanted Sarah's sunglasses and not knowing what to do, Sarah said "I said no, baby!" The food was delicious and we left with two very over-sugared kids!

It was a great way to celebrate our forst Easter as a family of four!
