St. Patrick's Day
Connecticut has a large population of Irish folk. So why the St. Patrick's Day parade was March 9, I have no idea. I'm convinced its because businesses want people to be forced to go downtown two weekends in a row. I was out of town for the parade so on St. Patrick's Day we dressed up in our Green garb and had a party at home! Last year we went to NYC for the parade and I'm glad we didn't this year because it was snowing, and we all know how I feel about snow!
