For Labor Day weekend, we took Jack out of school for a day so we could meet Grandpa, Vera, Uncle Billy, Aunt Kelly and her family at the Outer Banks. It's such a beautiful place and we had a great time playing in the waves, having a glass of wine (or 2), celebrating Sarah & Josh's birthday and seeing Miss Vera's new engagement ring! We are so happy for Grandpa and Miss Vera.
We still miss Grandpa terribly so I had no problem inviting ourselves up for the weekend.
The kids had a great time and played really nicely together. Time at the beach is always too short but we feel lukcy that we got to see our family this weekend!
