Friday night we celebrated Vera's birthday. The kids were so happy to see her. Vera is a real crowd pleaser!
We took the kids bowling and they enjoyed putting the ball on the guide and watching it roll. Some did lose interest and wanted to play games instead.
At dinner we watched hibachi and it was amazing. Everyone did sake shots and Jack yelled for more "sake" with confidence (it was juice).
We also finally got to enjoy the spirit of Memorial Day with a parade on Monday. We took Betsy out of the home and she got nervous that we all showed up at the same time and asked us if she was going to die. Hardly.
We were sad to see the McGuires go but after Jack convinced the to take their clothes off and gave the girls oxyclean as a "potion" they probably could have used a break from Jack!!
