One Week home

It's been quite a week in this house! Jet lag has been a major hurdle for us. Sarah and I had our days and nights confused, leading to both of us tired and cranky. Then, I caught her cold so that added to my tired. Jack loved Sarah until he figured out he had to share toys with her. Sarah loved Jack until she figured out she had to share toys with him. :) We are all figuring this out though, slowly but surely!

Sarah is picking up many English words that help her like up, help, open. She's also learned "baby" due to her cousin Andrew and "Ellie" for her cousin Ellie. She loves other kids!

She is still very cautious and shy around other people and interaction must be on her terms. She is very independent and wants to do everything herself. And if she doesn't like something she will let you know with a firm headshake. When she's feeling silly she will make funny faces, dance and pretend to sneeze!

She has quite a girly personality for such a young girl, I can't wait to fully see it when she's fully adjusted!
