We went to Long Island for Easter. It was a chilly weekend and traveling by boat is always such an unpleasant whirlwind. We had Easter baskets, presents, luggage, etc. to carry onto the ferry before departing. One we got on the boat, the captain asked Jack if he wanted to see where they operate the boat. He replied "no", I replied "yes" and sent Jack on his way with Mark. The last thing I said to Mark was "take a picture" and shockingly, he forgot to take a picture of this unique opportunity. On Saturday, we painted Barbara & Craig's front porch and restacked some wood. We enjoyed a nice steak dinner that night where Jack declared "is anyone at this table happy?" New York loud talking can sometimes put as all on edge. On Sunday, we enjoyed Fr. Tom's sermon and went to Aunt Cathy's house for Easter dinner. We had to catch the 6:00 pm ferry home because we both had to work on Monday so it was a quick Easter and it was rushed but it was a nice time for Jack.
